A ‘Constitution Museum’ — on the aspects of the Indian Constitution — set up at
O P Jindal Global University, Sonipat, will be inaugurated by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla Saturday.
According to C Raj Kumar, founding Vice Chancellor of the university, the Constitution Museum has been set up at the university to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution. It is meant to “democratise access to the Constitution”, meaning that “the Constitution is not just for lawyers and judges, but all of us ordinary citizens of the country need to understand our history, our freedom struggle, and how it culminated in our Constitution,” he said.
