Maharashtra Election Results 2024 Date, Timings: Maharashtra held single-phase assembly elections for all of its 288 seats on Wednesday, November 20, with all eyes on the outcome.
The elections saw a battle between the prevailing BJP-led Mahayuti coalition, which has been fighting to remain in power, and the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance, seeking to overthrow the existing leadership.
Pollsters released their exit poll findings after the Maharashtra cast votes on Wednesday.
According to an analysis of nine exit polls, Mahayuti is leading with 118 to 175 seats, whereas MVA has as little as 69.
Interestingly, three surveys indicate a ‘hung house’ with no clear majority. With Mahayuti showing potential but MVA still in play, the political situation is murky.
