The Infinity Ticket sale for Coldplay Music of the Spheres 2025 was held at 12 PM on Friday for all Indian concerts scheduled in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. In no time, the infinity tickets were sold out for all five concerts. Infinity tickets were priced equivalent of $20, which was nearly Rs 2000 for Indian concerts. This was exclusive of taxes and fees on their official booking partner, BookMyShow. The tickets were sold with terms and conditions in place. They could only be bought in pairs and one individual could only purchase two tickets at a time. How Coldplay Infinity Tickets work?
The tickets will be randomly allocated and will be located anywhere in the venue–from the back row, to the floor, to seats in the lower and upper levels of the venue. Seat locations were not disclosed and will not be disclosed until tickets are picked up in person with a matching photo ID at the box office on the day of the show. According to the official site, infinity.coldplay.com, any reselling or transfer of these tickets will result in a void with no refund.
Coldplay concert dates
Coldplay Music of the Spheres 2025 world tour will kick start on January 9 with its first concert in Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Sports City Stadium. The band will have four shows in the city at the same venue on January 9, 11, 12, and 14.
The band will then move to India with their first concert scheduled in Mumbai on January 18. The concert will take place in DY Patil Sports Stadium on 18th, 19th, and 21st. The band will perform in Ahmedabad on 25th and 26th of January at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The band will then resume its tour agin in April with concerts scheduled in Hong Kong, Seoul, Stanford, Las Vegas, El Paso, Toronto, Boston, Miami, Hull, and London, among other cities.
Audience’s response to Coldplay regular tickets
Initially, the band had decided to have just one show in Ahmedabad and two in Mumbai, but due to unprecedented demand, two more dates were added to Coldplay’s Music of The Sphere World Tour in India. The concert in Ahmedabad is expecting a potential audience of 1 lakh fans each night. While the first set of ticket sale was made live on September 22 at 12 pm, the tickets for the additional concert in Mumbai was made live at 2 pm of the same day. Meanwhile, tickets for additional Ahmedabad concert went live on November 16.
The regular tickets for the concert was priced between Rs 2,500-Rs 35,000, whereas VIP lounge tickets were priced at Rs 35,000.
According to BookMyShow, several fans logged in to get tickets on November 16 with the tickets being sold out for two stadium shows in Ahmedabad within two hours of them going on-sale.
What to expect from Coldplay?
In addition to performing several hits from their Album of the Year-nominated Music Of The Spheres and new singles ‘We Pray’ and ‘feelslikeimfallinginlove’ off their upcoming release Moon Music, the group will incorporate anthems from the band’s incredible catalogue, including ‘Yellow’, ‘The Scientist’, ‘Clocks’, ‘Fix You’, ‘Viva La Vida’, ‘Paradise’, ‘A Sky Full Of Stars’ and ‘Adventure Of A Lifetime’.
This will mark Coldplay’s second visit to India after their 2016 concert. The official tour began back in 2022 with the band having sold over 10 million tickets so far.
