Gomez announced her engagement with Blanco in a heart-warming post on Instagram. The singer flaunted her stunning diamond ring, leaving her fans emotional. In a series of photos, Gomez can be seen admiring her ring while sitting in a lawn with a picnic set-up. The last picture shows Blanco planting a kiss on the singer’s head. Announcing the engagement, Gomez wrote, “forever begins now…”

The couple has been romantically linked since December 2023. However, their relationship began six months after they made it public, as per reports. Gomez and Blanco first worked together on the 2019 track I Can’t Get Enough, alongside Tainy and J Balvin. Their musical collaboration continued with Gomez’s 2023 single Single Soon, and over time, their friendship blossomed into romance.
In an interview with People Magazine, Blanco once hinted at his marriage with Gomez. He also tagged her as his best friend. “When I look at her … I’m always just like, I don’t know a world where it could be better than this,” Blanco had said.
On the professional front, Selena Gomez was last seen in Emilia Perez, which received the Golden Globes nomination this year, and Disney+Hostar show Only Murders in the Building.
