Don: Shah Rukh Khan references ‘maa ki dua’ in fresh collaboration with Diljit Dosanjh. Watch teaser for new song

Diljit Dosanjh has been cooking something special for his fans, the teaser for which he dropped on Thursday. While Diljit himself has become a brand with millions of followers, the promise of a collaboration with Bollywood’s King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, for a song titled “Don”, has doubled his fans’ excitement.

In the teaser, Diljit Dosanjh can be seen exiting a helicopter and riding a yacht, with a voiceover from Shah Rukh Khan in the background. SRK says, “Puraani kahawat hain, ke sab se upar jaana hain to bohot sari mehnat chahiye. Lekin agar sabse upar tikna hain, to maa ki dua chahiye. Tumhara mujh tak pohochna mushkil hi nahin, namunkin hain. Kyunki dhool kitni bhi oonchi chali jaye, kabhi aasman ko ganda nahi kar sakti (There’s an old saying, you need to work hard if you want to become number one. But if you want to stay on top, you need your mother’s blessings. It’s not just hard to reach me, it’s impossible. Because no matter how high the dust flies, it can’t sully the sky).”

Diljit shared the video on his official YouTube channel with no additional information. However, he hinted at dropping the surprise anytime this year. The thirty-second video was enough for his fans to get excited. They flooded his comments section with statements like, “Punjabiyan Da Don Aa Gaye Oye”, “After this – dar ka mahool hai puri punjab music industry me”, “Diljit is just getting bigger and bigger……….. It’s unimaginable.”
