Keerthy Suresh-Antony Thattil wedding first photos out: Vijay attends grand Goa ceremony

It is wedding season in South cinema, and the latest to join this bandwagon in National Award-winner Keerthy Suresh, who married longtime boyfriend and entrepreneur Antony Thattil. Sharing the first pictures of them as a happily married couple, Keerthy wrote, “#ForTheLoveOfNyke” This cute hashtag is not just the amalgamation of Antony’s last two letters, and Keerthy’s first two letters, but also the name of the latter’s beloved dog, which is often the star of her social media page.

Keerthy Suresh’s wedding, which happened in Goa, was conducted according to Hindu traditions. The photos feature a smiling Keerthy looking resplendent in her gold-and-green saree, and a red saree adorned with finery. The event was attended by family and friends of Keerthy and Antony. Actor-politician Vijay was in attendance at the event, and a photo of him with his security team went viral.

The relationship came as a surprise to many of her fans as Keerthy always maintained a fierce secrecy about her private life, and it was just last month that she officially announced the same. In fact, they have been together for over 15 years, much before she made her onscreen debut as an actor in Priyadarshan’s Geethanjali in 2013.

Meanwhile, Keerthy, who has made quite an indelible mark in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema, is set to make her big Hindi debut with Varun Dhawan’s Baby John. The official remake of Atlee’s Theri, headlined by Vijay, Baby John would feature Keerthy in the role made famous by Samantha.
