WPL Players Auction 2025 Date and Time, Live Streaming Channel and TV Telecast: The auction of the 3rd season for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is almost upon us with all 5 teams looking forward to strengthen their squads.
120 players are in the auction pool which features 91 Indian and 29 overseas cricketers, including 3 from Associate Nations. There are also 82 Indian uncapped players and 8 uncapped overseas players. However, only a total of 19 slots are up for grabs, with 5 slots for overseas players due to all the franchises more or less retaining most of their squad for last season.
Gujarat Giants have the highest purse with Rs 4.4 crore and 4 slots with 2 overseas slots while UP Warriorz have Rs 3.95 crore with 3 slots remaining with 1 overseas slot remaining.
Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians have 2.50 crore and 2.65 crore respective while Royal Challengers Bengaluru have Rs 3.25 crore left. DC have 4 slots with 1 overseas slot remaining while Mumbai also have 4 slots with 1 overseas slot remaining. Bengaluru, meanwhile, have 4 slots with no overseas picks remaining.
West Indies’ star allrounder Deandra Dottin who had a controversial fallout with Gujarat regarding her fitness is in the auction and is expected to make a hefty pay day.
