Eight people including a traffic police officer sustained injuries in a wasp attack at the Agartala Circuit House complex on Saturday.
All of them rushed to a local hospital and one of them was admitted there. “We have admitted one patient as his injuries are more serious than others’. Still, his condition is stable. The rest of the patients were released after giving them primary treatment,” a doctor at the hospital told reporters.
The victims said they came under an unprovoked wasp attack in the area.
In November last year, a school at Belonia in South Tripura district was closed for three days after unknown insects swarmed into its premises.
