If this leak is to be believed, the Galaxy S25 series of smartphones will be official exactly a month from today. According to a post on X by the prominent leaker Evan Blass, the Galaxy S25 series will arrive on January 22. The invite also hints at four different models, with the new entrant being the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 Slim.
Considering the launch timeframe of the Galaxy S24 series, which arrived in February 2024, the Galaxy S25 series will be available slightly earlier. Samsung is likely to officially unveil the date of the next Galaxy Unpacked event in the coming days, where the company will showcase the Galaxy S25 series of smartphones and accessories.
As per several reports, the Galaxy S25 series will include four different models: the Galaxy S25, a compact flagship; the Galaxy S25+, an affordable large-screen flagship; the Galaxy S25 Ultra, a complete flagship; and the Galaxy S25 Slim, speculated to be the slimmest smartphone from Samsung, likely aimed at competing with the upcoming iPhone 17 Air.
This time, the entire Galaxy S25 series is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. In terms of design, these devices are anticipated to resemble their predecessors. However, they will ship with Android 15-based OneUI 7, which is rumored to introduce significant changes compared to OneUI 6, including many new Galaxy AI features and capabilities.
According to an X post by Abhishek Yadav, Samsung is also said to have upgraded the RAM on the base variants of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ from 8 GB to 12 GB, paired with 256 GB of internal storage.
