Vehicle in Rajasthan ex-CM Vasundhara Raje’s convoy overturns, 5 cops injured

Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s convoy met with an accident in Pali on Sunday afternoon, injuring five policemen accompanying her.

The accident took place when a police escort vehicle in the convoy overturned while trying to avoid a motorcycle at Bali in Pali district.

The former CM rushed the injured to the government hospital in Bali in an ambulance, with BJP’s Bali MLA Pushpendra Singh accompanying the injured. All the policemen had minor injuries and were discharged after giving first aid, Raje wrote on her social media account.

The former CM was returning to Jodhpur from Pali’s Mundara village after paying condolences to Minister of State for Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Otaram Dewasi over his mother’s death.

On December 11, two persons, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector, died following an accident involving Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s convoy in Jaipur.
