Assam TET Postponed 2024: DSE to take exam on January 19

Assam TET Postponed 2024: The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE) Assam has announced a revised date for the Assam Teacher Recruitment 2024 examination. Assam TET, which was originally scheduled for December 29, will now be held on January 19. Candidates can the notification about the revised examination date on the official website at madhyamik.assam.gov.in.

According to the latest Assam TET notification, candidates must re-download their updated admit cards using their application number or date of birth and password from January 3 at 11 am. The admit cards will be available on the official website.

This year, the recruitment aims to fill 8230 vacancies for the TGT while 1487 seats for PGT candidates.

The exam will be for 150 marks with paper I. The visually impaired candidates will get an additional 20 minutes. Candidates having 60 per cent marks in the exam will be considered to be passed and for the reserved category candidates, the marks required are 55 per cent.
