Jeep safaris are popular among visitors to the Kaziranga National Park in Assam. However, the thrilling activity recently turned into a nightmare for a mother-daughter duo as they fell from the jeep in front of a rhinoceros.
A viral video shows a rhinoceros trailing a jeep within the park. Three jeeps with tourists are seen gearing up to make a right turn. As the first two jeeps accelerate, a young girl and her mother are suddenly thrown to the ground, crying out for help. Then comes another rhinoceros charging towards the tourists’ vehicle. Alarmed by the rhino’s furious stomping, the driver of the third jeep cautiously reverses, avoiding further danger.

The incident is said to have occurred in the Bagori range of the Kaziranga National Park. According to reports, the woman and her daughter narrowly avoided injury, managing to rush back into their jeep just in time.
According to NDTV, Kaziranga National Park authorities have launched a probe into the incident and urged tourists to be cautious during jeep safaris.
A similar incident took place in 2014, wherein a white tiger killed a 20-year-old man who fell into its enclosure at the Delhi zoo. His father told police that his son had a long “history of mental illness”. “He had a long history of mental illness but was fine now and was working in a factory. He used to consume cannabis,” he said.
