Dua Lipa is all set to return to India to perform for the second time after 2019. The singer made the announcement about three months ago. Now, with just a few days before the concert on November 30, the singer has shared her excitement about revisiting the country. Dua also shared her reaction over the viral mashup of Woh Ladki Jo and Levitating.
In a conversation with Times of India, the singer shared her trip to India will be a part of her Radical Optimism Tour, which she kickstarted earlier this month in Singapore. She said her trip to India last year stayed with her. “As soon as we started planning this tour (Radical Optimism), I knew India had to be included.”
In the same interview, Dua also shared that Shah Rukh Khan is her favourite Indian actor. She also reacted to the 2023 fan mashup of Dua’s song and SRK’s Woh Ladki Jo. She said, “I was blown away when I first heard the mashup of Woh Ladki Jo and Levitating. It was amazing.”
The song, upon its release, trended online and went viral.
Previously, Dua Lipa performed in India in 2019 at the OnePlus Music Festival. This time, the singer will headline Zomato Feeding India Concert (ZFIC) in Mumbai.
Announcing her tour to India about three months ago, Dua shared a series of photos of herself from her Indian trip and wrote, “India, I’m coming back!! my trip at the start of this year was a beautiful reminder of how much I love this place.”
She added, “The warmth and energy I felt from everyone I met there was amazing, and I can’t wait to see you again to perform in November!”
