The chat begins with the renter asking the woman if she has “a date”. Confused by the question, the woman wonders if the renter meant to ask when she would be ready to move in. “To move in? I can either shift in the last week of December or the first week of January,” she responds. The renter then clarified that she was asking about the woman’s relationship status, specifically if she had a boyfriend. The woman confirmed her relationship and said that the man was also based in Gurugram.
The conversation takes an odd turn when the renter asks, “A serious one?” The woman confirms that it is indeed serious. The renter then mentions that she prefers casual relationships and would need a flatmate who shares the same preference.
