The Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT) Delhi has introduced a six months executive programme in virtual and augmented reality under its Continuing Education Programme (CEP). This blended learning learning course will equip professionals with expertise and practical skills to drive innovation in the AR and VR landscape, says the institute.
The programme offers knowledge of AR and VR technologies, from foundational concepts to the design and development of immersive experiences. Learners will master essential skills, including animation design and creating interactive AR and VR environments, claimed the press release adding that learners will have a one-day campus immersion.
The IIT Delhi course has a fee structure of Rs 1,59,000 + taxes. The candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or a diploma holder with 3 years of work experience is eligible to apply fr the course. The IIT Delhi‘s course curriculum encompasses 10 specialised modules, covering AR-VR development, design principles, immersive experience creation, game development and prototyping. Learners will gain proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Adobe Photoshop, and After Effects.
A capstone project will allow learners to demonstrate their expertise through real-world AR and VR development projects.
