BJP MLA from Amraiwadi constituency of Ahmedabad city, Hasmukh Patel, on Sunday participated in a half-marathon (21.09 kilometers) organised by a private group in GIFT City on the theme of ‘Drugs Free Society’. Patel was among the thousands of people who participated in the event. The Amraiwadi MLA said that he has made running his hobby and has been participating in marathons and half-marathons to promote Fit India Movement launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Patel said that he completed the half marathon in two hours and 48 minutes and also met the brand ambassador of the event, actor Sonu Sood.
